| Pursuant to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1329 р , dated October 2, 2007, in Sofia ( Bulgaria ), the Russian National Exhibition is to be held in Sofia ( Bulgaria ), which presents one of the cardinal events of the Year of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Bulgaria in the area of economic activity. The exhibition will be attended by official delegation of the Russian Federation.
Contribute to the further development and strengthening of economic relations between Russia and Bulgaria, to the diversification of the forms and fields of the economic cooperation between Russia and Bulgaria, to the expansion of cooperation to the social and humanitarian field, to the strengthening of commercial and cultural relations between the two countries.
- Increase in mutual trade, which includes promoting export of the Russian hi-tech products as well as machinery and technical products to the Bulgaria's market;
- Expansion of investment co-operation and presentation of the most attractive investment projects of the Russian Federation;

To participate in the Russian National Exhibition are invited: scientific and industrial companies of various industrial sectors, enterprises and companies that form the infrastructure of the innovation activity, banks, insurance, leasing, franchising companies, financial and foreign trade companies, higher education institutions, theaters and artistic groups, traditional craft companies, travel agencies and tour operators.
About 200 exhibitors from 25 constituent territories of the Russian Federation will take part in the exhibition.
